Personal trainers are experienced in custom designing workouts that meet
your specific needs. They are educated in meeting you at your particular
fitness level and progressing your workouts from there. Having a personal
trainer will not only educate you on proper form and technique but motivate
you as well. You can work with a trainer on a regular basis or you can consult
with one periodically to critique and update your program. You’ll find that
this expedites the accomplishment of your desired goals!
World Gym is proud of their elite team of certified trainers and certified
master trainers. All are talented and many specialize in specific areas,
i.e., athletic conditioning, and post-rehab. Group personal training is
also available upon request.

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
Whether we train for the purpose of fat reduction, sports, or general fitness, the bottom line is our health and mobility. I count muscular strength as the basis for
all of our physical activity. Even cardiovascular fitness depends upon our muscular ability to walk or run. Beginning with a safe and efficient program
of strength training, the personal trainer can safely incorporate flexibility
and cardiovascular exercises into their client’s fitness program designed to meet the needs of that particular individual.

BACKGROUND
I grew up in an athletic family. I became heavily involved
in fitness and martial arts around age 12. For the next 5
years I studied and learned from my father and all of his
fitness colleagues. During this time, he became a
professional boxing manager and our home became a training
camp for fighters. I gained a great knowledge of fitness
and training methods. By the time I was 18 I was training
my father's fighters in stamina and power for their upcoming
fights. This is where I acquired my first experience being
a personal trainer.
TRAINING PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy on training can be summed up in one
word...efficiency. By efficiency, I mean making the most of
every movement you perform while in a training session. I
focus a great deal on the mental aspect of training, not
only to help you achieve a higher intensity level and
quicker results, but also to use the training session as
a "moving meditation". When meditating, you attempt to free
your mind of every thought, worry and care to achieve peace.
The same goes for training. If your mind is occupied with
something else during your performance, there is no way that
you will achieve the maximum effectiveness of the workout.
TESTIMONIALS
"The Fastest results I've ever gotten with a Trainer."
Jane Drammeh, age 19 Carrolton, GA

you"

When you think of fitness you usually focus on weight training and cardiovascular training. There are two other aspects of training that are just as important but usually overlooked. Proper nutrition and flexibility training are equally important. Look into your weekly schedule and locate two hours to include some type of yoga or pilates. Add this to your "to do" list. I promise you nor your body will be disappointed. Also, if you're working hard but just not getting the results you are expecting then begin to journal everything you eat. You may "think" you're eating healthy but if you write it down you will find where you might be sabotaging all your hard work. Remember, to make yourself a plan and then work your plan and you won't be disappointed!
