Why use a personal trainer?...
Personal trainers are experienced in custom designing workouts that meet your specific needs. They are educated in meeting you at your particular fitness level and progressing your workouts from there. Having a personal trainer will not only educate you on proper form and technique but motivate you as well. You can work with a trainer on a regular basis or you can consult with one periodically to critique and update your program. You’ll find that this expedites the accomplishment of your desired goals!
World Gym is proud of their elite team of certified trainers and certified master trainers. All are talented and many specialize in specific areas, i.e., athletic conditioning, and post-rehab. Group personal training is also available upon request.

-Personally trained for 10 years, and have trained others in resistance and cardio training since 2002, always focusing on reaching high goals.
-Owned & Operated an Olympic Training Gymnastics Center for 8 years, training young athletes to compete in Gymnastics and life. - 1993-2001
-Compete in various local 5K, 10K, and sprint triathlon competitions, and train others to do so as well.
-Teach cycle and resistance training classes at Gold's and World's Gyms in Georgia.
-Train teenage athletes in sport specific skills enhanced by resistance, agility, and core training.
-Raised 2 national level gymnast sons, Joshua and Sean, who currently compete NCAA level for the Naval Academy and are nationally ranked! (Serious sports are a way of life)
-Hobbies include outdoor cycling, skiing, hiking, running, swimming, healthy nutrition, reading, music.
-Reaching balance in life between faith, family, finances, fitness, career, and fun.
Training Philosophy:
I believe we're all athletes in the making. We know instinctively what we're doing right and wrong to our bodies, but often lack correct information and motivation to change! If your goal is to loose body weight and excess fat, I can help you do so AND increase lean muscle with a tailor made program that fits your body and your lifestyle. My expertise is to encourage and motivate you to WANT to change from the inside out- a better body is the result of better thinking and better habits. I know the struggles (I've live them), but I also know that overcoming the obstacles is incredibly empowering for you physically, as well as emotionally and spiritually. That's what happens when YOU take control! It's awesome to CHANGE YOUR LIFE!!!!

Fitness is three pronged - strength training, cardiovascular training and flexibility training. In order to maximize your results - use all 3 components. The process is quite simple, the results are awesome!
